The Characteristics Of The Consistency Of The Parenting Style And Its Influence On Children's Problems

With the development of the society,there are more and more grandparents participating in the core family education.Coupled with the opening of the "two-child policy",the greater the proportion of grandparents in children's education.According to the survey data of report Wenhui newspaper in March 2010,most cities in China have a high ratio of grandparents to child care,such as about 70% of children in Beijing who are raised by other generations.In Shanghai,88.9% of children aged 0-6 are raised by their grandparents.More than 80 percent of the left-behind children in rural areas are being cross-generation fostering.However,most of the researchers looked at the core family parent-child education,and there were few studies on Inter-generational education.It is necessary to influence that way of grandparents rearing style and parenting style to children's problem behaviors,which also provide theoretical guidance for the family interaction theory,thus promoting the healthy growth of children.Based on this,the study was conducted in the city of 853 students in the province of Shanxi,using a questionnaire survey,to study the relationship between parental rearing style,grandparents rearing style,and the behavior of children's problems,and the following conclusion:1.The problem behavior has the gender differences,boys problem behaviors average than girls.In grade,that 4th grade had the most problem.There's no significant difference in behavioral differences between caregivers.2.The consistency of the grandmother rearing style and the mother rearing style showed that the mother's emotional warmth and understanding was higher than grandmother.Grandmother's meddling,favoritism and denial above mother.3.The consistency of the grandmother rearing style and the father rearing style is manifested in the father's punishment and severity higher than the grandmother.Grandmother's excessive interference and denial are higher than her father's.4.The consistency of the father rearing style and the mother rearing style found that the mother's emotional warmth,excessive interference and refusal to be higher than the father.Father's punishment and preference were higher than his mother's.5.The analysis of variance found that there were fewer children's problems with grandmother rearing style and parental rearing style.It is easy for children to be divided,to complain,and to act more frequently when the mother and mother are in the same situation as punishment and strict parenting.Grandmother and father to deny the consistency of the children's causes the problem of social withdrawal behaviors.6.The influence of grandmother rearing style on children problem behavior is mediated by mother rearing style.
