A Study Of Ecological Thoughts In The Text Of Xiangxi Miao Folk Songs

The Miao culture has its unique characteristics.As the important part of Miao culture,the Miao folk songs are the cultural phenomena or facts formed by the Miao people of Xiangxi to adapt to natural and social habitats for thousands of years.It constitutes a mechanism for the Miao people to adapt to the nature and survival which rooted in cutural soil and becomes the carrier of recording,inheriting and extending the Miao nationality's historical culture and spiritual wealth.On the one hand,as nurtured and developed in this original ecological environment,it has the characteristics and charm of the original ecology and contains rich ecological connotation and value.On the other hand,the Miao folk songs have become the portrayal of Miao people'life and act as an important role of the social interaction and custom activities of the Miao nationality.It also reflects their spiritual characteristics and act as the bridge to promote national cultural exchange and the tie to enhance national unity.Through the in-depth investigation of the Miao village and collection,sorting and interpretation of the Miao folk songs,foucs on the content analysis,the author exlpores the local ecological knowledge and thoughts which involves the ecological concept of harmonious relationship between human and nature and between man and society,The concept of ecological concept is embodied in the ideas and concepts of the Miao people's perception of life and nature,the understanding of their fate and history,the respect of nature,the singing of ideological Harmony and the spiritual unification,and the singing of ethnic groups concerted efforts and unity,the singing of free love and happy family,and the singing of the social civilization and progress.It is also found that the Miao folk songs are not only the medium of the Miao cultural inheritance,but also an unconsciously taught and condensed way to the Miao people.And it inspires us to discover and utilize the local ecological knowledge to expand the social functions and contemporary values of the Miao folk songs.Morever,It provides some new ideas and new directions in the aspects of dealing the relation ship between human and nature and building a socialist ecological civilization revitalizing the contemporary rural society and developing the national ecological economy.At the same time,the article plays a role in arousing the public,the society,the experts and scholars to pay more attention to the relationship between Xiangxi Miao folk songs,the natural ecological environment and civil society.It is also aimed to promote scientifically protect and develop the cultural soil on which the folk song depends and promote the Xiangxi Miao folk songs to become a part of the normal life in the new era while maintaining the original ecological development,and form a sense of cultural conservation awareness which favors better inheritance and development of the Xiangxi Miao folk songs.
