Study On The Sustainable Development Of Shanxi Painting Association

Painting associations are produced in the specific social and cultural background,not only closely related to the development of Art,but also rich in social and cultural connotations.In this paper,the author takes Shanxi provincial painting associations as the main research object and summarizes the present situation of them.Also,it researches and analyzes the survival status of Shanxi provincial painting associations from the following four aspects: legal status,the dual attributes of the association,asset management and use and management mode.And then it analyzes the five functions of the painting community: aggregation function,communication function,political participation function,mobilization function and service function.This article first uses the qualitative research method to establish a complete system after the inspectation of the predecessor,the time of establishment,the purpose,the organization,the exhibition,the social public welfare activity and the Chinese and foreign exchange activities about 11 provincial painting associations in Shanxi.Secondly,the author compares the related concepts,types with the research results of the painting societies by using the method of literature,and then it compares the painting associations of Shanxi Province with those from other provinces by using the method of comparative study.Finally,the collected data are made into statistical charts by the method of quantitative research to analyze the phenomena and causes,and then find out the problems in the system.This paper points out the difficulties that Shanxi painting associations face in the development: insufficient funds for community activities,loss of talent resources,difficult formation of regional painting schools,lack of media publicity,imperfect establishment of local chapters,less of foreign learning and so on.In view of the above difficulties,the article puts forward the countermeasures to promote the sustainable development of Shanxi painting associations by learning from the experience of the development of the painting associations in other provinces.The measure is to use the five functions of the painting community effectively,and give full play of their own initiative to solve the problems encountered in the actual operation.
