A Study On The Relationship Between Parental Marital Quality?Co-parenting And Adolescent Problem Behavior

Problem behavior refers to behavior that violates socially recognized normative and ethical standards of normal children and adolescents and immature behaviors in emotional or social adaptation.Problem behavior is divided into two major categories: externalization problem behavior and internalization problem behavior.With the transition of school,cognitive transformation and expansion of peer network group,adolescence is a period of sensitive and vulnerable,which is also a period of high occurrence of various problems.Among the many factors that affect the problem behavior of adolescence,the family environment is the first one that the adolescence contact and it influence them all the time.As two important subsystems in the family system,the quality of marital and the co-parenting has very important influence on the behavior of adolescence.Therefore,this study focuses on the interaction mechanism between parental marital quality,co-parenting and adolescents' problem behaviors in adolescents' families.So as to provide references for preventing and intervening adolescents' problem behaviors.In this study,A total of 500 students of the first and second grade junior middle school and their parents were surveryed with questionnaire in April2017.The questionaire including "Parental Marital Quality Questionnaire","Coparening Scale" and "Strengths and Difficulties questionnaire of Adolescent,SDQ".After 6 months of follow-up,to measured again in October 2017.416 valid questionnaires were collected by cluster sampling method the class cluster sampling method.SPSS20.0 and Structural Equation Model were used to analyze and process the data.The results were as follows:(1)The combination of mother's cooperative co-parenting and father's consistent co-parenting can significantly negatively predict problem behavior;The combination of mother's cooperative co-parenting and father's conflict co-parenting can significantly positively predict problembehavior;The combination of mother's consistent co-parenting and father's cooperative,consistent co-parenting can significantly negatively predict problem behavior;The combination of mother's conflict co-parenting and father's cooperative,consistent,conflict,undermining co-parenting can significantly positively predict problem behavior.The combinations of mother's marital quality dimension and father's marital quality can significantly negatively predictive adolescent problems behavior.(2)There are significant differences in T1 and T2 between mother's cooperative co-parenting and father's cooperative,undermining co-parenting.(3)There are short-term and long-term prediction effect of father's marital quality,mother marital quality on adolescent problem behavior;And there are short-term and long-term negative prediction effect of mother's consistent co-parenting on adolescent problem behavior can behavior on adolescent problem behavior;there are short-term and long-term mother's positive effect of father's conflict,undermining co-parenting on adolescent problem behavior;but There are only short-term mother's consistent co-parenting,father's cooperative,consistent co-parenting on adolescent problem behavior.(4)There are simultaneously spillover between father's marital quality and cooperative co-parenting,and has a negative effect on adolescent problem behavior;there are simultaneously spillover between mother's marital quality and conflict,undermining co-parenting,and has a positive effect on adolescent problem behavior.(5)There are lagged spillover between mother's marital quality and conflict?undermining co-parenting,and has a positive effect on adolescent problem behavior.
