Study On Evaluation And Analysis About Urban Cultural Competitiveness Of Chongqing

Chongqing is the fourth municipality and the central city in China's southwestern region.It is not only one of the six national central cities,but also a node-city under the One Belt And One Road economic zone and Yangtze River Economic Belt.The cultural competitiveness of the city plays an important role in competition among nations.In the era of globalization,the competition between cities has increasingly resulted in projects and plans which aimed at enhancing culture through tangible and intangible measures.As an important part of national culture competitiveness,the competitiveness of the city cultural has become one of the key elements to measure the development and potential of a country.The urban cultural competitiveness is the basis,core and key of the urban competitiveness;it is an important evaluation element of the urban competitiveness.Benefited from economic globalization,the cultural competition has become one of the most important competition among countries and cities.Culture influences the core competitive ability of a city;meanwhile,it is the foundation and key of city's sustainable development.This paper expounds the research background,sources,meaning,the main theories and models on the urban culture competitiveness.In order to comprehend and evaluate the level of Chongqing's urban cultural competitiveness,this paper has built a new evaluate index system according to the characteristics of urban culture.This index system focuses on the most important five elements which affected the urban cultural competitiveness,such as cultural resources,cultural infrastructure,cultural industry,cultural influence and cultural innovation,and evaluated the city's overall cultural competitiveness.Meanwhile,this article summarizes the characteristics and problems of Chongqing's cultural competitiveness.Finally,this research illustrates the path of enhancing the urban cultural competitiveness,including exploring cultural resources and related support industries,improving the relevant institutional mechanisms of government,selecting the appropriate cluster development model which suited to the local conditions,stimulating cultural consumption,improving innovation,promoting cultural capital operation,introducing and training of high-level cultural talents,strengthening the construction of industrial integration and support,enhancing cultural innovation.It hopes that the countermeasures and suggestions this article has discussed could make a valuable reference for promoting Chongqing's total competitiveness,and also could raise the cultural innovation level of Chongqing.
