Research On Compiling The New Type Mongolian Electronic Dictionary

Nowadays,electronic dictionaries,especially the translation dictionaries of the Mongolian(Cyrillic),Chinese,English are widely used in our daily life.With the popularity of electronic dictionaries,there is increasing demand of electronic dictionaries for the users.In order to reduce the working pressure of lexicographers and the cost for dictionary compilation,and improve the efficiency of lexicography,this thesis conducts a research on updating the method of compiling the new type Mongolian E-Dictionary and developing the platform of dictionary compilation.The thesis consists of five chapters:introduction,chapter one,chapter two,chapter three and conclusion.The introduction covers the research topic determination,research status,research content,research methodology and the related corpus.The first chapter introduces the preparation of Mongolian electronic lexicography including the selection and processing of corpus,and other used dictionaries.The second chapter introduces the main work of Mongolian E-dictionary compilation including the analysis and definition of the entries,extraction of the sample sentences.The third chapter introduces the construction and some application of the platform and shows its interface.The conclusion summarizes the full text and put forward the future work.
