The Designand Implementation Of Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary Platform

China is a multinational country. Due to the historical factors and language environment, it is important for minority people to get knowledge from the translation of Chinese for a long time. With the increase of social information, and creation of new terminology, people would not satisfy with the traditional manual translation any more. People of various occupations hope to develop machine translation or a Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary.DARHAN Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary Version1.0 was successfully invented by School of Mongolian Studies, Inner Mongolia University in 2004. This electronic dictionary drew people's attention and got both social and economical interests. However, with the increasing of the social information and expanding of the range of the using of the dictionary, some shortages and disadvantages of this kind of dictionary have emerged. Therefore, we have to enlarge the data and upgrade the technique of the dictionary.In order to enlarge the data and improve the technique of the Chinese-Mongolian dictionary, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the language level and technical level of DARHAN Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary Version1.0. Through the study, we have developed a tool for management and safeguard of the Chinese-Mongolian electronic dictionary, and have improved the original user interface and grasp screen.In this paper, the author introduces the design principles and technical implementation of this platform and the process of compilation of Chinese-Mongolian High Frequency Word in details. Finally, the author puts forward the later study plan.
