A Study On The Usage And Requirement Of Chinese Dictionary Of Mongolian Students

In the process of learning any language, the dictionary is not only a good helper for language learners, but also an important reference tool for teachers. Nowadays, Chinese learners in Mongolia are increasing dramatically year by year. The demand and usage of Chinese dictionary also has been gradually increasing. However, the research situation of Chinese dictionary is so poor, so that the research of Chinese dictionary is very urgent and important.At present, Mongolian dictionary compilation is booming well, but Chinese dictionary is not accepted and evaluated well by the majority of Chinese learners in Mongolia. In order to know the usage and requirements of Mongolia students' Chinese dictionary, the author made a statistical analysis of the data obtained through questionnaire survey, using SPSS software and Excel software. On the basis of the survey, this paper put forward the suggestions about the compiling and publishing of Chinese dictionary for Mongolia learners.This paper mainly consists of the following five parts, the specific contents are as follows:The first part introduces the reason and significance of the topic of the paper, basis on the history of Mongolian students' usage of Chinese paper dictionary, electronic dictionary, dictionary software and online dictionary, the author reviewed the related research summary.The second part introduces the design of the questionnaire and the basic information of the respondent etc.The third part reviews the survey about Mongolian students'understanding of Chinese dictionary and introduces the analysis and evaluation of Chinese learning dictionaries made by Mongolian students.The fourth part introduces the survey about the usage condition of Chinese dictionary for Mongolian students, including the possession of current Chinese dictionary, the usage frequency of the different types of Chinese dictionaries etc.In the fifth part, the author analysed the Chinese dictionary demand and usage of Mongolian students, mainly studied the purchase and usage demand of Chinese dictionary. Besides, the author referred the evaluation for Chinese dictionary of Mongolian students.
