In different conferences, simultaneous interpretation with text is widely used.In most cases, speakers start to deliver a speech impromptuly. Therefore,it is significant to research the influence of speaker's partial improvisation on interpretation quality, because the research can lead interpretation practices in the future. The thesis studies simultaneous interpreting effects within the limited preparation time.On the basis of theoretical analysis,an experiment is conducted to research the influence of speaker's partial improvisation on interpretation quality. The procedures of writing the thesis include proving experimental hypothesis, analyzing experimental results and questionnaires, and providing some suggestions.Based on Danniel Gile's Effort Model and the types and influences of partial improvisation,an experiment research and a questionnaire are used to study on the fact that how the deviation from the original text in the C-E simultaneous interpreting process with text can affect the interpreters and interpretation quality.By analyzing text that has undergone interpretation, the thesis summarizes specific influence of and reason behind the partial improvisation.By comparing data collected from impromptu speech and the whole text, the thesis concludes the consequences caused by misunderstanding, omission and fluency, and presents figures on scores from the perspective of profession and communication effect. When speaker makes some changes in C-E simultaneous interpreting, the equality of C-E simultaneous interpreting will be obviously reduced. The obstacles in interpreting the text mainly includes misinterpretation, omission and modal words. The biggest difficulty for the interpreters is to grasp the new information provided by the speaker.Information loss, misunderstanding and lack of fluency lead to the shortage of faithfulness. All the aforementioned serves as factors affecting fluency in the interpretation. As for interpreters,it is evident that as they depend much on the text, their interpretation is disturbed seriously. The text on hand has an adverse impact on them.Besides,in-cohesion between the text and real speech leads to incompleteness and lower fluency. As a result, there is an unbalance on effort assignment.According to above mentioned results, the thesis provides some suggestions on simultaneous interpreting practices under such condition. As to interpreters who are relatively inexperienced, the text should mainly be used to deal with difficult and important words, sentences and expressions which can easily cause confusion.Much attention should be paid to listening the speech. In addition, interpreters can make full use of strategies, master some significant information and control their interpreting rhythm.
