The implementation of the "The Belt and Road" strategy has promoted the trend of students from countries along the route to study Chinese.The number of foreign students in domestic colleges and universities is increasing year by year.More and more students come from countries and regions along the " The Belt and Road ",among which Asian students become the main force.Foreign students in China study languages in the target language environment and have advantaged environmental and resource advantages.If they want to learn Chinese well,they should not only use the learning environment,but also make full use of all kinds of learning resources.For foreign students who study language in the target language environment,extra-curricular reading is an important way of language input and to acquire language naturally.However,most international students are not aware of the importance of extracurricular reading in Chinese,and the amount of time devoted to extracurricular reading is not enough.In addition,there are few studies on foreign students' extracurricular reading in the field of Chinese teaching,so I think it is necessary to carry out research on this topic.This paper takes the Asian language students in Wuhan universities as the survey objects,and through questionnaires and interviews to know the status of their extracurricular reading.Then,on the basis of the analysis of the survey data,suggestions were made on the provision of Chinese extracurricular reading materials for international students in China to help the international students further study Chinese.This article is divided into four chapters: The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the meaning,goals,theory,methods and research status of the topic.The second chapter is the focus and subject of this article.The main contents include the investigation process and investigation.After analyzing the results and the process,the chapter will combine the survey data with reading time and media,reading content and motivation,reading attitudes and obstacles,reading resources and expectations as the entry point,and analyzing the current situation of reading;On the basis of the analysis in the previous chapter,the third chapter proposes suggestions on the supply of Chinese extracurricular reading,mainly focusing on enhancing the pertinence of supply,expanding the breadth of space,and promoting the scientific nature of supply;The fourth chapter is an epilogue.It summarizes and reviews the research process,research ideas and research results of the full text.It also reviews and summarizes the deficiencies in the research process and looks into the future prospects of this field.
