The Research Of Organic Marxism Community In The View Of Modernity

In the 18 th century,the enlightenment movement in France bred modernity.The enlightenment promoted reason,broke myth and removed enchantment.It bred the modernity spirit of constant reflection,doubt on tradition and transcendence.With the realization and completion of modernization,modernity became the validation of the self,rationality was enlarged and changed into rationalism,instrumental rationality and value rationality replaced the original essence of reason.While the highly developed science and technology brought great material wealth and spirit pleasure,the problems of modernity were coming.The logic of capital become capitalists pursuit the only goal,capitalism advocates extreme liberalism and individualism,people constantly satisfying their desires and maximizing their interests,while ignoring the finite nature of the earth's resources and the limits of their carrying capacity,resulting the resource shortages,damage environment,rising global temperatures,rising sea levels and air pollution index is serious and so on.Under the development of the modernity of capitalism,the original meaning of the community has been gradually disintegrated,freedom,democracy and human rights on the basis of individualism have abolished the idea of the community,so the human community,the social community and the ecological community have been hit and challenged by modernity.Organic Marxism focus on the ecological crisis and think that it is not too late to change its concept and mode of development,the seriousness of the problem makes that each country must immediately take measures to realize the change of ecological disaster to the ecological civilization.Therefore,Organic Marxism criticize the system of the capitalist countries with the United States as the main part and the destruction of the capitalist modernity to the community.It expose the theory of free market,the value of individualism and the concept of economic development and reject the assumption of the "economic man" of ecological destruction,the severe class inequality and the indicators of the single economic achievement.In order to reconstruct the community under the modernity,Organic Marxism integrate the Whitehead's philosophy,Marxism,post-modernist theory,Chinese traditional culture and part of the idea of ecology Marxism to form his own theory.It puts forward three declarations,justice of capitalism is not justice,free market capitalism is not free,the poor pay for damage to the global climate is unfair",it aims at building a community and seeking its common well-being,thus realizing an ecological civilization.The community of Organic Marxism is a natural community in which human beings live in harmony with nature,a human community in which human beings are treated on equal,and a social community in which human beings and society develop continuously.In order to construct the community,Organic Marxism puts forward four core guiding principles,namely,the value orientation of the common well-being,the organic ecological thinking,the long-term overall vision and the concern for class inequality.The community thought construction under this guidance constructs the human and pluralistic community in the community at the same time deconstructing the extreme individualism and monism,replacing the mono-mechanical thought of "Anthropocentrism" and "Eco-centrism by the view of organic whole,so as to realize the organic unity of harmonious and pluralistic natural community,returning to equality human community and social community of symbiosis.At the same time,Organic Marxism puts forward some concrete constructive plans for the construction of the community from a constructive post-modern perspective,including developing the community economy,changing the index of economic achievements,implementing mixed market socialism,courses serving the Community,carrying out organic education and developing organic agriculture.From the perspective of modernity,Marxism and the Chinese Marxism,the theory of Organic Marxism has its value and limitations.To a certain extent,the community thought of organic Marxism helps to deepen the understanding of the issue of capitalist modernity,oppose individualism,and thus reshape the community in the reflection.However,it has not reached the height of Marxism community thought,and its ideological theory is still relatively weak.The understanding of the root caused the ecological crisis is not deep,it also has a certain utopia color because it does not advocate the elimination of private ownership.To face up to its theoretical values and limitations in the view of Marxism and Chinese Marxism,and adhering a firm Marxist position is significance in the new era,so that it can play a role as a reference in China's ecological civilization construction.It is revealed to us that we should avoid the mistakes of capitalist modernity on China's modernization road,strengthen the "four self-confidence" of socialism with Chinese characteristics,build a community of common destiny for mankind,and achieve new goals under socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
