Analysis On "The Theory Of Organic Marxism"

Organic Marxism,as the most popular theoretical frontier for recent years in the field of Classical Marxism,appeals to the combination of Whitehead' Process Philosophy and Classical Marxism.This kind of theory belongs to the postmodernism,which possesses the traits just like "diversity,openness,limitedness",and adopt more open attitude towards traditional Chinese culture.To review a generating theory,the fundamental principles of dialectical materialism should be insisted firmly.It is worth of a guarded remark when analysis the theoretical and practical value of their opinions.Therefore,this study firstly tries to make it clear that what is the specific propositions and its theoretical essence,so as to understand the context of Organic Marxism theory in a whole.And then,make sure what is the internal relations and the natural distinguish between the Organic Marxism and the Classical Marxism.Finally,based on the two premises,this study aims to point out the practical value of the Organic Marxism for Chinese ecological civilization,as well as social transformation.Specially,hoping to provide some useful method for environmental protection and green development.Trying to answer the following three questions is the main research purpose of this paper: What is the Organic Marxism? What is the internal relation and essential difference between the Organic Marxism and the Classical Marxism? What is the theoretical dilemma and contemporary value in the organic Marx? This research puts aside the prejudices of first impressions and keeps objective attitude when it is necessary to draw a conclusion.Never follow other scholars like sheep,no matter they worship or slander this rising philosophical school.The research shows the respect for the original context of Marx and Organic Marxists,but tries best to maintain the necessary tension between convergent thinking and divergent thinking.Specifically,the study rooted in the context of Marx and Engels,and take the method of induction and analysis to illuminate the theoretical panorama of Classical Marxism,as well as the relationship with Classical Marxism,the defects and the values in its opinions.On the other hand,the research take the way from outward theoretical phenomenon to inner essence,and finally to value analysis.After necessary introduction and review,the research tries to abstract the life idea and process theory form Classical Marxism for research purposes mentioned above.To sum up,there are five key points of the research.First,as a kind of effort to understand our experience world and solve the existing problems,Organic Marxism is contradictions of reality and irrationality,which need to be treated dialectically.Organic Marxism is a world view corresponding to the output of contemporary natural science,so the theory of this school is based on process philosophy,holism and postmodernism paradigm.Third,Organic Marxism is the same with Classical Marxism in three points: the mode of process thinking,the critique of capitalism and the pursuit of double-liberation.However,when refers to the proof of natural value,the way of human liberation and the future of the social history,both schools are opposed to each other.Fourth,because the Organic Marxists abandon the theoretical foundation of Marx' practice,take any events as a being-for-itself,deny the progressive nature of history,and entrusted the common welfare to the kindness of human nature and pure-altruism values,so that the whole theory system and method of Organic Marxists slide into the quagmire of mysticism teleology and idealism.Fifth,those theoretical and practical problems the Organic Marxists concerned are also the urgent dilemma for ecological and social development in contemporary china.The dialectic research on Organic Marxism would give a positive impact on the construction of ecological civilization,social transformation and green development in our country.
