On The Cult Of The Ancient Egyptian Goddess Mut

Ancient Egypt was a multi-god worshipping country.Gods have an important position in social life,and it is the spiritual core of the ancient Egyptian civilization for thousands of years.The origin of the worship of most of Egypt's gods can be traced back to Egypt's early dynasty.In addition to these three theological systems,there are also a part of god who also plays an important role in the religious life of ancient Egypt,such as Bastet and Mut.This article attempts to explore the ancient Egyptian Mut and her worship.According to the Egyptian archeological data,the worship of Mut can be traced back to the second intermediate period.Mut,the wife of Amon-La,and Khonsu's mother,played an important role in the religious life of the New Kingdom.This article only discusses the worship of Mut in terms of Mut's spelling,symbolize,image,and worship center,and tries to analyze and study the significance of Mut.First of all,a brief discussion of Mut's deity worship mainly focuses on the origin,image and function of Mut.Second,we will discuss the festivals,worship centers,and temples worshiped by Mut.Finally,summed up the origin and influence of the worship of Mut.Mainly from ancient Egypt female pharaoh,women's social status and outlook on the future and other aspects.
