Ancient Egyptian history originated from the valley of the Nile river and the delta thousands years ago and lasted thousands years. As one of the earliest civilizations of human beings, it has a profound influence on the western civilization.Education, as one of the vehicles of civilization’s passing down generation after generation, enables the heritage of ancient Egypt still remain in modern times, so it might help us a lot to know ancient Egypt better through research of the education of ancient Egypt. In modern time, it is hard for anyone to imagine to expel woman out of education, but it is true that it happened in ancient Egypt. With the gradual improvement of the status of woman, more and more researches are attracted into the studies of ancient Egyptian woman and other issues. However, there are still not so much focuses put on the female’s education of ancient Egypt though some researches touched on the theme. As a result of that, it is necessary to concentrate a study effort on the female’s education of ancient Egypt.There are a lot of documents of ancient Egyptian education remaining from which the education system of ancient Egypt could be induced. However, there is only few documents of the female’s education of ancient Egypt, and the concerning archaeological materials is also rear, the paper will not divided the chapters in the category of home education, professional education and school education, but arrange the paper in literal education and non-literal education for the important role of writing in ancient society of Egypt. First, the definition of female education is tried to make, and then, the female’s literal education of ancient Egypt will be researched according the ancient Egyptian texts, and finally, the analysis of the approaches of female education of ancient Egypt as well as places of female’s education through the research of the titles of ancient Egyptian females and the social professions ancient Egyptian women took.
