With the continuous transformation of modern society and the continuous development of science and technology,the demand for comprehensive competence of talents is constantly improving.Especially in the field of "emphasizing rationality and ignoring sensibility" in higher vocational education,we only pay attention to the development of students' professional skills and neglect the improvement of students' artistic quality."Separation of skills" is obviously not in accordance with the requirements of training high-quality skilled talents.As a special art,music not only has the value of improving people's aesthetic taste and creative thinking,but also can promote the change and innovation of students' skills,the development of virtue and the health of the body and mind.Public music education in higher vocational colleges has an important influence on the improvement of music accomplishment of vocational college students.This research is divided into three parts from the general aspect,namely,introduction,theory and conclusion.The introduction part is based on the corresponding background,and based on some theoretical basis,analyzes the current research status of the research topic at home and abroad.Based on the status quo,the research direction,content and method are determined,and the theoretical and practical significance of this study is established in combination with the research design of this paper.This part includes the study of "ought to be","real" research and "countermeasures".Through the interpretation of the theory of general education and the analysis of the general objectives and contents of the public music education in Higher Vocational Colleges and the value to the development of students,the "deserved" pattern is explained.The study of "real" is mainly to investigate the current situation of public music education in Higher Vocational Colleges in J province.It combines multistage sampling and stratified sampling in the whole province,mainly from four aspects of students' basic situation,music curriculum,music extracurricular activities and campus music culture.The situation of public music education in higher vocational colleges of J province is described and analyzed,the influencing factors are analyzed,and the countermeasures are studied based on the influencing factors.The conclusion is the overall summary and Prospect of the thesis.Through this study to absorb the idea of general education,in view of the problems faced by the public music education in Higher Vocational and technical colleges and universities,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward,and the development of public music education in higher vocational colleges is conceived.We hope to promote the importance of music education in vocational schools and enhance the general music literacy of vocational college students.
