The PAS(Phonatory Aerodynamic System)is one of the important physiological instruments in phonetics research,which is mainly used for airflow and air pressure phonetics research.This study focuses on using the PAS to analyze basic consonant of the VC,CV syllable in standard Mongolian.This paper gets the following conclusions:Firstly,the consonant's air pressure data of the VC,CV(include V:)syllable are influenced vowel's labial participation,the consonant's airflow data are influenced vowel's mouth opening and tongue advancement.Secondly,the consonant's airflow and air pressure data of the V:C,CV:syllable are less than the consonant's airflow and air pressure data of the VC,CV syllable.Thirdly,the consonant's airflow and air pressure data of the VC,V:C syllable are larger than the consonant's airflow and air pressure data of the CV,CV:syllable.Fourthly,male speaker's airflow is larger than female speaker's airflow,female speaker's air pressure is larger than male speaker's air pressure.
