A Study Of The Narrative Language And Localization Design Of Picture Book

A picture book is a book based on a picture and with a bit of words.Today,From the overwhelming written message is,people are slowing in accepting them.Instead,they are more interested in picture information,so the art of the picture book has been developed.Intuitive visual pattern,unified expression and coherent narrative language make the picture books stand out in the complex information carrier.This unique form of the art has become a new reading fashion.The development of picture books in China started late.At present,most of the researches on picture books in China are confined to children’s picture books,but the research on the visual rules and visual language of picture books,and theapplication of picture books in the field of visual communication do not enough.And in the home market,,Picture book has some common problems like original work lacks,topic selection single and indigenization theme less.So,this paper starts with the narrative language and indigenization design,to find the indigenization design method,focus on the indigenization elements application and the development of the indigenization analysis,to study the picture book narrative language to grope the form of picture book,to analyze picture books how to use their own unique artistic form and visual language features to show the advantages of picture books.Taking this paper to let more people understand and appreciate picture book art,explore the direction and Prospect of picture book design in the field of visual communication design.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,aiming at the selected topic basis,research background,research purpose and significance,research methods and innovation,research status at home and abroad,and literature review.The second part is the main part of this paper,It divided into four chapters: the first chapter analyzes the picture in visual communication in their location,including the definition of picture book and the differencebetween picture book and illustration picture books in the visual communication design’s advantages and the location of the picture books in visual communication.the second chapter describes the picture book in visual communication’s narrative language,describes narrative language form,display method,function analysis of the picture book.and the comparison of other forms of narrative language;the third chapter mainly from the picture book’s design method and the application of the indigenization elements to discusse the indigenization design of picture books,through the analysis of different picture book to summarize the visual rule of picture book.the fourth chapter analyzes the aesthetic connotation and modern design of the picture book design.Study the aesthetic features of the indigenization the humanistic connotation,the value embodiment and the modern design application of the picture book design.The third part is the conclusion part of the paper.It summarizes the feasibility and advantages of picture book design in the field of visual communication design.
