Children aged in 3-6 years is the phase of intellectual growth and development,in which children have a strong thirst for knowledge,but also an important time for them to reserve knowledge.A good children picture book then may add the impetus for the children’s intelligence growth."Interactive Children Picture Book" provides a new perspective for the design of children’s picture book.The interaction between children and picture book in the process of reading effectively makes it interesting.Based on the analysis of the current situation and demand for interactive children’s picture books,the expression ways and means of interactive children’s picture books at the level of plots are further explored in this paper to guide readers from the simple game interaction to the story plot interaction as the role.Parents’attitude towards children’s picture books and children’s psychological cognition are focused on in this paper.Through questionnaire survey and literature summary,and combining the semantic difference method(SD method),parents’preference and the importance of various design elements of picture books are evaluated.Children’s parents prefer the interactive children’s picture books that are featured by pretty color,matching of painting style and story theme,deeper cultural connotation,more interesting content,and training children’s cognition on the choice importance and expanding children’s knowledge.Then,from the perspective of the picture book users,through the analysis of children’s psychology,cognition and aesthetics,it is determined that the target children’s psychological cognition is mainly featured by the logical judgement of the simple concepts.Therefore,we should adopt a relatively simple and clear structure in setting interactive points and the design of picture books.Through the investigation and analysis on parents,the most popular subjects of picture books are selected.The specific preference for picture books purchased by parents is analyzed.Most parents expect picture books to be fun and educational in content,appearance,and function.The main purpose of parents is to develop children’s interest and enrich their spare time with picture books.From the data in SD method,the specific design elements of picture book such as the appearance,content and function are taken into account.In terms of design elements of picture books’appearance,the pretty color,the match with painting style and story and exquisite covers are scored most and valued by more users;In terms of design elements of picture books’ content,the deeper cultural connotation and content of much interest are key points;In terms of design elements of picture book’s function,it’s key to have children know the importance of choice and expand children’s knowledge and children have a better capacity in the independent choice.Through the above evaluation and analysis,the problem on picture book design is improved.Finally,from the level of practice,the previous theoretical research is taken as the guidance.It’s revised on basis of the history of the Warring States,Children’s picture book Story of Qin and Wei for 3-6-year preschool kids is created.The picture book is designed at the aspects of appearance,content and function.According to the evaluation plan at the previous phase,the appearance color,cover design,story,education and entertainment function,etc.are designed.The completed scheme is comprehensively evaluated to verify the application of the pre-evaluation scheme in the design results of this paper,and also to reflect the practical application value of the research conclusions.
