Based on the Government-run education funding in Yunnan province in1912-1937 as the research object,take the macroscopic research and microscopic research,the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method to discusses the management mechanism,source,income and expenditure of government-run education funding in Yunnan province from 1912 to 1937,and expounds the changes of the management mechanism of education funds and the characteristics of education funding sources.It shown the Government-run education funding process stage of modernization,and revealed the change of the education system is one of the important areas and it's influence in Yunnan province of the republic of China.This article has five chapters respectively discussed the development of government-run education in Yunnan from 1912 to 1937,the reform of government-run education funding management mechanism,the source and revenue and expenditure of government-run education,and the influence of government-run education on education in Yunnan province.In the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China in Yunnan education system and educational administration in the context of modern transition,with the gradual reform of Yunnan provincial and county education funding management mechanism,education funding management tended to be institutionalized and open.The sources and receipts and expenditures of Yunnan government-run educational funds were closely related to the economic,social,political situation,educational funds management mechanism and education in Yunnan Province during this period.The sources and receipts and expenditures of Yunnan government-run educational funds had different characteristics before and after independence.Education funds are the foundation for the construction and development of education.Government plays a leading role in the construction of education.The amount of education funds directly affects the development of education.From a macro point of view,education's budget and expenditure had affected thedevelopment of education in Yunnan as a whole.During the 1912 to 1914,influenced by Cai E's financial reform,education funds increased initially,and Yunnan's primary education has been further developed on the basis of the educational reform of Yunnan province in the late Qing Dynasty.After the Hu-Guo war broke out,Yunnan province was affected by the war of the warlords.All kinds of funds were often diverted to military expenditures,resulting in a shortage of education funds.Some secondary schools extended the time for student holidays due to funding shortfalls during warlord melee or jointly set up.After the education funding was independent in Yunnan,education funds were well guaranteed,then,Yunnan's various types and all levels of education were well developed at this stage.The differences in the expenditure of provincial education and the county education resulted in the specific development of education.The school district schools,provincial and county-level school running situation was a powerful historical evidence.
