Research On Modal Particles In Jincheng Dialect

Modal words are the main means by which people express their emotional attitudes and play an important role in people's daily oral communication.The number of modal words in Chinese dialects is numerous and they have their own characteristics and complete tone system.The study of a dialect modal verbs is of great significance for us to deeply understand the tone of the dialect and to understand the nature and characteristics of modal words.And it is helpful to reveal the grammar system of the dialect.This article takes the 11 monosyllable modal particles of Jincheng dialect as the research object.Through the field investigation and corpus analysis,the communicative plane has a detailed description and analysis of the meaning and function of the single modal particle in Jincheng dialect.A comparison was made between the corresponding modality words in Putonghua and other Jin dialects,and then the collocation of modal particles in Jincheng dialects was discussed.Finally,the Jincheng dialect modality system was summarized.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter "Introduction" mainly outlines the reasons for selecting the topic.It describes in detail the research done by the predecessors' speech of modal particles in Jin dialect and other dialects,and points out the significance of studying the modality words in Jincheng dialect.This chapter introduces the research objectives,material sources,theoretical basis,research methods and other issues.The second chapter is “Classification of Modal Words in Jincheng Dialects”.The paper combed and studied the modal words in Jincheng Dialects systematically from the aspect of classification,meaning,distribution,function,etc.This chapter is the focus of this article.The third chapter,“The collocation of Modal Particles in Jincheng Dialects”,summarizes the situation of the use of all modal words in conjunction and the use of three words together,and expounds the pattern of joint use of modal words in Jincheng dialects.In the fourth chapter,“Comparison between Modal Words in Jincheng Dialect and Modal Words in Neighboring Dialects”,the author compares some of the Jincheng Dialect Modal Particles with complex usage and the corresponding Modal Particles in individual peripheral dialects to reveal the uniqueness of the Modal Words in Jincheng Dialect.The last part is conclusion,summarizing the description of the Jincheng dialect modal words in this paper,constructing the Jincheng dialect modality word system,and pointing out the direction of future efforts,the unique charm of dialect is shown.
