In the early years of the new nation,children received great attention,and people regarded children books as a way to educate them.Faced with the problem that children's books were scarce,the country gradually built up the new order of children's literature,and "Kids literature" was born in this background.As the first literary journal whose reader orientation included junior high school students and pupils on high-grade,many of its readers were in adolescents or about to enter.After the founding of "Kids Literature" in July 1953,“Kids Literature”had a suspension of publication for 9 months during August 1960 to April 1961,and it discontinued after July 1966.In the tortuous development,the magazine's style was swinging,at the same time,the personal and literary pursuit of the editors was difficult to accomplish.The development of "Kids Literature" in 1953-1966 reflected the survival status of children's periodicals in the Seventeen years.On the basis of sticking to children's literature,"Kids Literature" paid great attention to the cultivation and education of children.The education of class struggle was the important content of children's literature education in the framework of the Seventeen Years,while scientific education and aesthetic education showed some features with the changes in the external ideological trend.To a certain extent,by studying "Kids Literature" during 1953-1966,it could reappear the children's literature education and space of growth of children living in 1950 s and1960s.Meanwhile,in the situation that individuals contributed themselves to the construction of the country,we could also concentrated on self-expression of the teen authors by studying their literary works.Besides,"Kids literature" took "education significance" as the standard of judging literary works.The meaning of the fuzzy evaluation criterion changed with the change of the mainstream discourse,which also led the concept of children's literature education in journal to swing between the literariness and educational significance.What is more,children characters,the magazine's stand,and the fates of the authors,were all in change,which made the outlook of the journal changed between the new youth and this little old man.In the1950 s and 1960 s,"Kids Literature" had its own limitations,which also prompt people to reflect on the contemporary children's literature education.In terms of the binding education and the self-knowledge and exploration of the self,it is still a matter of concern to be concerned about the position of the children's literature.
