In the process of understanding the world,number processing plays an important role.Spatial-Numerical Association of Response codes(SNARC effect)is one of the hot spots in the field of number processing.A large number of studies abroad show that the SNARC effect is closely related to the Spatial reference frames.However,the influences of different types of spatial reference frames on the SNARC effect in the allocentric reference frame needs further study.Therefore,from the point of view of the influence factors of SNARC effect,and there are two kinds of spatial reference frames subject-based spatial reference frame(individual imagination)and Object-based spatial reference frame(physical presentation)in the allocentric reference frame is the main line of this study.On this basis,the differences of the effects of subject-based spatial reference frames and object-based spatial reference frames on SNARC effect are further discussed.This study consists of two experiments with 162 college students were included in the study.Of these,82 completed the task of experiment 1(The effect of subject-based spatial reference frame on SNARC effect)and 80 completed the task of experiment 2(The effect of object-based spatial reference frames on SNARC effect).In order to complete the four conditions of the experimental task,the subjects will be divided into four groups:HH(The subjects were asked to respond by the key which horizontal and from right to left under the horizontal spatial reference frames.That is,the egocentric reference frame and the allocentric reference frame keep consistent in horizontal)?HV(The subjects were asked to respond by the key which vertical and from bottom to top under the horizontal spatial reference frames.That is,the egocentric reference frame and the allocentric reference frame keep horizontal and vertical crossing)?VH(The subjects were asked to respond by the key which horizontal and from right to left under near and far vertical spatial reference frames.That is,the egocentric reference frame and the allocentric reference frame keep keep horizontal and vertical crossing)and VV(The subjects were asked to respond by the key which vertical and from bottom to top under the near and far vertical spatial reference frames.That is,the egocentric reference frame and the allocentric reference frame keep consistent in vertical).The results of the study found that :(1)There were significant SNARC effect under HH and VV conditions,and SNARC effect disappeared under HV and VH conditions in the subject-based spatial reference frame;(2)There were significant SNARC effect under HH and VV conditions,and the SNARC effect disappeared under the condition of HH and VV in the object-based spatial reference frame;(3)Under the condition of HH,there is no significant differences between subject-based spatial reference frame and object-based spatial reference frame on the SNARC effect;(4)Under the condition of VV,the effects of subject-based spatial reference frame and object-based spatial reference frame on SNARC effect are significantly different.The object-based spatial reference frame strengthens the SNARC effect.Based on the above results,imply that the direction of allocentric reference frame and egocentric reference frame keep consistent is a necessary condition for the elicitation of the SNARC effect.There are two different types of spatial frame of reference in the allocentric reference frame,subject-based spatial reference frame and object-based spatial reference frame.
