Comprehensive museums are witnesses of a region's history and culture,and are also the windows of the city's foreign cultural language.The visual identification system of comprehensive museums is the exihibition center of museum image and plays a key role in museum image promotion.In recent years,with the continuous development of digital technology and network equipment,the multiple communication concepts and interactive communication modes of new media technologies have continuously influenced and changed people's ways of information dissemination and consumption.Under the impact of this media environment,the reform and promotion of traditional museum visual identification systems have become inevitable.Based on the above background,this paper mainly discusses how to improve the traditional museum visual identification system in the context of new media and establish a comprehensive museum visual identification system that is applicable to the new media communication environment.Starting from the museum's visual elements extraction,it proposes the design strategy of the museum's visual identification system,and finally displays and disseminates the visual image of the museum in multiple ways,which is used in the final design practice.This article takes a comprehensive museum as the research object,starts from the context of new media,and studies related theories of integrated design,museology,communication,etc.Through literature analysis,inductive deduction,case analysis,and questionnaire surveys,the museum's visual effects at home and abroad are studied.The current status of the identification system design is summarized and analyzed.Following the research thinking from the theoretical analysis to the practice verification,the topic is divided into five parts:(1)The topic selection and significance of the study are proposed,and the relevant theoretical studies at home and abroad are summarized;(2)The visual of the integrated museum is discussed.Identify the information media changes that the system is facing,and analyze the current design status of the visual identification system of comprehensive museums in China,and then propose design trends of this type of museum visual identificationsystem;(3)Comprehensive museums in the context of new media The internal structure and external factors of the visual identification system are combed,and the design orientation and series of elements of the visual identification system for comprehensive museums are also demonstrated;(4)The preliminary research is summarized,from the elements of the museum,core development,and multiple display,media dissemination and other aspects,with the help of different case studies,put forward specific design methods;(5)Take the Zhengzhou Museum in Henan Province as an example,conduct on-the-spot investigations and questionnaire surveys of museum history,culture,and visual images,quantify and analyze the questionnaire survey to clarify the needs of the target audience,then combine the above-mentioned design elements and design methods to design systematically the Museum of Zhengzhou visual image.Through the targeting systematic design of a museum's visual image,the previous theoretical research is verified.This study can provide some theoretical references for typical elements mining and cross-media presentation of museum visual identification systems.
