A Study On The Art Of Letters In Chongqing During The Anti-Japanese War

After the outbreak of the War of Anti-Japanese,Chongqing became the national political,economic and cultural center.China's outstanding statesmen,first-class scholars and literary artists have gathered here to write a large number of letters of solidarity with the fate of the nation,such as the collection of Anti Japanese War and the letters that pay attention to the calligraphy education of the primary and middle school students.At that time,the celebrities in Chongqing had close correspondence,rich and varied contents,artistic discussion,life trivia,secret affairs and so on.In this special period,the knowledge structure of celebrities from all walks of life originated from the traditional culture,and was influenced by the Qing Dynasty tablet study,placard study,western culture and the new cultural movement.The calligraphy style presented a pluralistic pattern and had a distinct style of the times.In this paper,the author makes a comprehensive analysis of the letters and letters written by politicians,scholars,painters and calligraphers in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War period,so as to accomplish the following objectives : 1.Combing and summing up the historical background,cultural background and artistic background of Chongqing at auxiliary capital period.2.Analyze the main contents of letters from the aspects of art,life trivia,politics and military affairs of artists.3.The cultural and artistic value of Chongqing letters during the Anti-Japanese War was analyzed concretely from the aspects of writing,format,writing tools and calligraphy.4.The calligraphy style mainly includes three kinds of calligraphy style: putting into the tablet,putting the tablet into the placard,and integrating the tablet and placard.The calligraphy characteristics of the calligraphy letters are analyzed from the relationship between the calligraphers and the influence of their friends on them.Focus on the analysis of the related tablet studies,posts on the discussion of letters.5.The inspiration of Chongqing letters of the auxiliary capital period to the exhibition of contemporary calligraphy.Therefore,we think that the study on the art of letters in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War period not only has important historical value,but also sees the highest level of calligrapher's calligraphy in the natural writing.
