| After more than a thousand years of development,Chinese painting has formed a complete "language" system.In the field of traditional painting art development reached its peak.Chinese painting entered the contemporary cultural context today.As a contemporary person,we need to think about the contemporary artistic expression of Chinese painting.Based on the in-depth study and understanding of the evolution of traditional culture and art concepts,through the process of studying the inheritance and exploration of traditional painting art language media and painting materials,the author believes that tradition is not a dead concept.Vital.Focusing on the moment,we should carry forward our outstanding traditions in a way that reflects our contemporary people’s artistic spirit and artistic pursuits.It is worth thinking about.Artists in the contemporary context have a rapid development in science and technology.Both the value of our ideas and the social environment we live in are different from those of the ancients.When our ideas have changed,existing materials and performance techniques have been insufficient to meet the artist’s expression needs,it will inevitably lead to the innovation of materials and techniques,will produce new artistic language,and need new material techniques to adapt to Artist’s expression needs.The choice of materials varies from person to person and varies according to creative intentions.2 This does not mean that we no longer use traditional painting materials.The use of materials does not actually have a fixed concept.There is no distinction between good and bad material.It is only the material that the artist intends to convey that is suitable for the use of the material,and how this material can be processed into a language suitable for artistic expression through the processing of the artist.Our use of materials is something that we need to constantly explore.We try to promote the performance of our material techniques by trying out the performance techniques of various materials and studying the different “deduction” methods of the same material.However,we cannot talk about materials in terms of concepts,otherwise the materials will be meaningless."Materials" always take concept as a carrier.This is the key concept and material problem discussed in this paper,that is,the relationship between material performance and spiritual appeal.My research direction is the contemporary art expression and material language research of Chinese painting.Its main research topic is how to use the artistic expression that conforms to contemporary aesthetic ideals to demonstrate our oriental spirit.This thesis is divided into three parts: The first part mainly analyzes the artistic conception of the contemporary artistic expression based on the traditional Chinese painting.The second part mainly introduces the study of material language in the contemporary artistic expression of Chinese painting,including our inheritance and development of traditional materials techniques,as well as the development and utilization of new materials.The third part focuses on the characteristics of the times,diversification,and “towards synthesis” of contemporary art expressions in Chinese paintings,and the artistic practices of artists in the field of contemporary art expression in Chinese painting. |
