The Research Of Sound Design In Zhang Yimou's Film Works

Throughout the films created by director Zhang Yimou,no matter they were the earlies art films or later commercial blockbusters,no matter the plain language,moving music,or strict sound design,all reflect Zhang Yimou's rigorous and dedicated concept of film creation.Based on the theory of film sound design,different styles of film works in different periods produced by Zhang Yimou were selected for case analysis,realism and expressionism of two different types of sound design style concept was used as the basis,the film appeared in the language,music,sound elements of three types of sound were interpreted.First of all,this paper through the research background and significance,literature review,research methods and innovation of Zhang Yimou film sound design related research combing and summing up.Secondly,based on the sound design related concepts,style and design process as the theoretical basis for the study of Zhang Yimou film sound.Then,based on the combination of sound design theory and film examples,through different language models,different music styles and different audio recording means,the author made a thorough analysis,summarized the sound design concept with Zhang Yimou characteristics.Finally,in the perspective of sound design,the nationalization,internationalization,artistry and commercialization of creative ideas were explored,and the artistic value of Zhang Yimou film sound design were summed up.Film,as an art form of audio-visual combination,can not be separated from the ingenious conception of sound design.Sound design is the product of both art and technology.Through the research of this paper,in the concept of sound design of Zhang Yimou film,the nationalized regional sound element is the important conception of sound design of his film,and it is also the embodiment of the core value of his works.It is a key help for Chinese discourse to step onto the world stage.The exploration of film sound in this paper is helpful to guide film creation and practical application,and it provides theoretical results for the development and exploration of film sound production in China,which has a good practical significance.
