An Investigation On The Language Situation Of Changzhi People-benefit Community

In this paper,the specific situation of variation and usage of dialect words was investigated by using sociolinguistic research methods and language contact.According to 50 group of words,analyzes the differences of usage of dialect words between the new variety and the old variety.At the same time,researches the reasons from different aspects,such as gender? age?occupation and so on.The whole thesisis divided into four chapters.First of all,concludes the achievement that other linguists gained from researching on Changzhi dialect,and introduces the purpose of the thesis and methods of study.In addition,explaining speech community and diglossia theory in the first chapter.In the second chapter we summarize the language status,linguistic backgrounds?language ability and communication are researched to explain the language situation,people's native language is very high and their Putonghua ability is gradually increase in that environment.They can use different occasions to elect language.Chapter three analyzes the usage of dialect words in people-benefit community,I will compare in the following noun?verd?adjective?adverb and pronoun.Through analysis of its forming reasons,reveals the differences among them.The last part describing people's language attitudes to both dialect and standard chinese or Putonghua in changzhi people-benefit community.More and more parents are in favor of their children speaking mandarin,they also have a positive attitude for the study of dialect.
