The purpose of this study is to understand the status quo,characteristics and psychological pressure of psychological distress of graduate students in Inner Mongolia.On the basis of this,the management strategy and intervention path of mental health education for graduate students are put forward.To lay a theoretical and practical foundation for mental health education of graduate students in Inner Mongolia.The author used a variety of methods to carry out the research,including questionnaire survey and qualitative research,combined with the relevant theories of psychology and the psychological distress scale(DASS-21)and the psychological coping questionnaire.In this paper,549 graduate students were randomly selected from four colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia by transection sampling method.The results show that the mental health status of the surveyed graduate students is good,but less than 10% of the students still have different degrees of psychological distress,the scores of stress and anxiety of Mongolian graduate students are significantly higher than those of Han nationality graduate students.48.6% of graduate students will choose a positive(relaxation,exercise,entertainment)coping style when they encounter psychological distress,while 24.8% of graduate students will choose a negative(solitude)coping style,while in the case of psychological distress,24.8% of graduate students will choose a negative(solitude)coping style.Social stereotypes can affect individuals seeking professional psychological help.A study of graduate stress found that graduate students have varying degrees of academic stress,employment pressure,and interpersonal relationships.Pressure and love pressure,its stress mainly comes from the personal,family,school and social four aspects.In a qualitative study of 41 graduate students in Inner Mongolia,it is found that the graduate students in Inner Mongolia have their own unique psychological pressure in learning,employment,interpersonal relationships,marriage and love.Compared with other graduate students,the pressure of cultural adaptation and employment is more prominent.Therefore,this study puts forward the countermeasures of mental health education for graduate students from the perspectives of university,teacher-student relationship and graduate students.First,From the point of view of colleges and universities,we should establish and perfect the service system of mental health education for postgraduates,carry out a general survey of the mental health status of postgraduates and establish archives,and carry out bilingual lectures or group tutoring in Mongolian and Chinese.Combine national culture and mental health education organically,strengthen and promote national communication,effectively eliminate the rejection of national hearts and solve the problem of language exchange among Mongolian graduate students;It is helpful for Mongolian graduate students to open their hearts,eliminate communication barriers and solve psychological problems.Second,From the perspective of graduate tutors.Strengthen the teacher's moral construction,encourage and guide the tutor to pay more attention to the psychological trends of the graduate students,communicate with the students,strengthen the mental health knowledge training for the master's tutor,give play to the psychological guidance effect of the tutor to the student,Adopt active and effective decompression strategy,effectively alleviate the psychological distress and psychological pressure of graduate students.Finally,From the personal point of view of graduate students.Establish a positive and optimistic attitude towards life,cultivate a cheerful personality,dialectically deal with prosperity and adversity in the process of growth,deal with setbacks and difficulties rationally,and enhance one's psychological ability to bear pressure;often take the initiative to examine oneself and reduce expectations.Set up the correct psychological help consciousness,have the correct psychological attitude,correctly understand the psychological consultation,make oneself accept the professional psychological counseling,alleviate the psychological distress that oneself faces.
