The Design And Development On Educational Game For Chinese Characters In TCSL

Containing education in amusement has been a long-standing ideology.Modern science and technology provide more possibility to the realization of this ideology.It's possible that students could take a new way to study that different from the form of classroom learning if Chinese characters study was integrate into games.In this essay,it analyzed the characteristics and advantages and sorted out the theoretical basis of education game.An investigation which aim at overseas student whose Chinese level was primary was developed to understand their need for Chinese character education game.Combine the survey results and the analysis of Chinese character learning goals,learning content,learning and game needs,the analysis of players,game type,game language,this essay designed a Chinese characters education game for all the monosyllabic Chinese characters that appear from the words section and writing section of Hanyu Jiaocheng.The design and project was described from five the aspects: game conduction,excitation mechanism,task designing,interface designing,sound designing,which paved the way for developing the game.With the support of modern game development technology,the game idea is come true.
