| In recent years, with the "Chinese hot" continues to rise, more and more foreigners began to study Chinese as a second language, Chinese teaching plays an indispensable role as an independent subject. Chinese character teaching is one of the key and difficult points in teaching Chinese which part students learning Chinese can not be ignored. But there is a phenomenon happened frequently, the Chinese language learners in the learning process of Chinese characters can just see the word but have no idea about saying. Some students finally gave up the Chinese language learning because they could not grasp Chinese characters.This study is based on the research results and the current situation of Chinese characters teaching at this stage, combing with the characteristics and advantages of the game teaching method. It proposed using the idea of the game to the teaching Chinese characters to foreigners. Then taking a few lessons from the textbook Developing Chinese Elementary Reading and Writing Courseâ… as an example, by designing a number of specific and representative game to have some practical applications in the classroom and record the reflect. Finally did some questionnaires to understand the students’ learning experience intuitively. Through this case study method and the questionnaire investigation, aimed at directly explain and verify how to use the game to assist Chinese class teaching, to improve the efficiency of Chinese characters learning, and to eliminate foreign students’ difficulties and fear of Chinese characters. So that they want to learn Chinese characters, love to learn Chinese characters with a positive psychology. At the same time, through the actual classroom teaching cases, it’s obvious for us to see the game teaching method has vast feasibility and necessity of applying in foreign Chinese character teaching. Demonstrating that such ideas and practice has certain effect and meaning. Meantime, it also shows some deficiencies,mainly reflected lacking some considerations and class implementation details. |
