New Media Art came in vogue in 60s in the 20~thh century.As a new media art,it came into existence based on the invention of television,video and camera.It has grown more and more mature after more than 10 years of development.For a long time,television,video,computer technology means are the main technical support of new media art.But as the development of contemporary art,with the development of technology and concept,new media art gradually developed into a more comprehensive and multi-sense direction.China's new media art grows in a complex environment,it seems that there are many immature problems in the artistic language and expression form..However,after entering the 1990s,the innovation and development of computer technology gradually became the key word of new media art.The application and popularization of computer technology puts the creators of all new media art in the same situation.Chinese new media art and western new media art have the same starting line,which undoubtedly means that China's new media art has flourished since then.This articlefocuses on the new media art in China,and the main part ofit through three chapters to discusses the content of new media art.The first part of the introduction briefly discusses the connection between media innovation and art.Every information revolution in human history has been accompanied by a rapid advance in media technology.New media art as the organic combination of modern technology and aesthetic cognition,not only show the emerging media for the innovation of the traditional media creation,also reveals the image of virtual human time further construction.The second chapter is divided into three parts,which explain the concept,development and language characteristics of new media art respectively.The content deals with the new media art,the development of new media art and the language features of new media art.The third chapter has chosen three types art work,include Video installation,digital art and virtual reality,then combined corresponding concrete works to perfect cognition.Examples include Wang Gongxin,Miao Xiaochun,Zhang Xiaotao et al.,through a brief analysis of the works to describe the outline of Chinese new media art.The fourth chapter on the basis of the development of China's new media art has launched some reflection,its content contains roughly reflections on experimental art movement in the ninety s,reflections on science,technology and media relations,and reflection on the creative identity the pluralistic situation of three parts.Through the above discussion and research,I hope to have a better understanding of the new media art in China,and also provide more creative ideas for the new media art creation today.
