Social Participation:On The Method Of Contemporary Art Intervening In Society

“Social participation” has become a new trend of contemporary artistic creation in recent years as a method of artistic intervention in society.Contemporary works of art are no longer merely items of appreciation in the interior.More artists began to pay attention to the dual relationship between artistic creation and social reality,and challenged the traditional art production model,and carried out a series of public participation as the core.Actions,performances,plans,events,etc.are dynamic artistic practices of expression.This article collectively refers to this kind of public art that is constructed on a specific site and is composed of audiences,transformed spaces,and mixed media collectively as “social participation art”.In the article,the author analyzes the characteristics of cooperation,dialogue,and polysemy in the art of social participation in the arts,and combines the historical development of the early Western art into the society,based on the development of the domestic local participation arts,Explore how Chinese contemporary art can better connect artistic practice with the current mass society in order to have more specific knowledge,understanding,and judgment of Chinese-style social participation art.The first chapter of this article is an introduction.It focuses on the research background,research purpose and significance of social participation art,relevant literature review,acade mic value,and innovation points.The second chapter mainly discusses the evolution of social participation art.The analysis focuses on the formation and early practice of the concept syste m of art intervention in society.It intends to highlight the progressive relationship between ea rly avant-garde art and conceptual art by sorting out the progressive relationship between hist orical avant-garde art,conceptual art and contemporary participatory art.The significance and role of contemporary society in the development of art;the third chapter is based on the study of the basic characteristics,constituent elements and aesthetic characteristics of the art of soci al participation,to further understand the aesthetic characteristics of this emerging artistic situ ation,although the social participation in art The original interest and attention of the public are often attracted by the novel and interactive elements of novelty,but the relationships amon g the artists,the audience,the museums,the social environment,etc.,contained in these work s are more worthy of examination;the last chapter mainly involves social participation.The c ommon form of art in our country is The entrances are artistic practices carried out in art galle ries,on-line,and in three different places in the country.They study the motives and the meth ods of thinking behind the artist's use of this creative model,and then shift to the deeper social significance embodied in the works.At the same time,while reviewing our country's social participation art,we also consider the issues that have been hidden and give our own th oughts and suggestions on these issues.
