Under the modern environment,the development of packaging design in China is facing a market situation where multiculturalism is intertwined.Under the circumstances of products homogenization in marketing today,how well the commodities are received and chosen depends on the construction of core value of commodity differentiation.This core value is culture.After a long period of development,minimalism is still consistent with today's fast-paced social life value.Buddhism and Taoist culture,which is unintended influenced by Zen,influences the Chinese spiritual idea and aesthetic consciousness.Therefore,in this thesis,the creation of modern packaging esthetic conception is derived from the visual characteristics of Chinese traditional culture.By combining the minimalist that is a Western idea,it studies the creation of visual artistic conception about modern packaging.Firstly,by means of comparative and analysis,the thesis mainly discusses aesthetic concepts which are under the influence of Chinese culture and Western culture respectively,and then extends the aesthetic thinking characteristics of different cultures to the interpretation of simple design.The thesis aims at analyzing the tendency of the simple design in China and Western countries.Secondly,based on the analysis of packaging examples,it summarizes and interprets how the eastern visual perception was brought out the best in the modern simple packaging design,and then the rules will be proposed.Finally,the thesis conveys the concepts into design application,presenting the following aspects of simple cultural package: the way of plane composition,color expression and visual representation.Taking the visual artistic conception that is derived from traditional cultures as the core,the thesis researches the possibility of modern packaging design styles from the angle of the blending of cultures with breakthrough.It hopes to expand our design thinking of package in local environment in order to create modern package with Chinese and internationalized characteristics.
