In recent years,a good social environment has brought rapid development to the market economy.Design is an activity that serves the commodity economy.Visual communication design has also entered a period of rapid development.The estheticist Arthur Danto once pointed out that the design dominates the choice,and the basis for people to make decisions is the aesthetic appearance.A good aesthetic appearance depends on the accurate use of the visual design language.Therefore,the research on visual design language has become the focus of many visual communication design practitioners.It is an important research direction of visual design language to explore more expressions and possibilities of visual design language.As a language system,visual design language should have the characteristics of language,and as a special language system with visual as the final expression,it also needs to conform to the visual characteristics.That is,visual design should have the ability to express expressions and visually expressible forms.Therefore,this thesis systematically and comprehensively studies the visual design language through two aspects: the expression of information based on semiotics,and the representation of visual design language based on composition.Then,with the packaging design as the foundation,the application law and creation method of the behavioral graphical visual design language for packaging are studied.Finally,a set of packaging design examples are used to verify the correctness and feasibility of the relevant research.The research on the direction of language expression based on semiotics in visual design language is lacking in the research of visual design language at presnt.The research direction and research methods of visual design language can provide a directional reference for the study of visual design language,enrich the expression possibility of visual design language,and provide assistance for the development of visual design language.The main innovations of this paper are: behavioral graphics as a visual design language,and research based on the direction of semiotics and composition.The main contents of semiotics-based research include: definition of behavior under semiotics;research of behavioral graphics as visual symbols;research on visual perception of behavioral visual symbols,the evaluation of the feasibility and effectiveness of the application in language used to visualize behavior in visual design;the introduction to 3M cognitive model in cognitive science and the FABE(Features/Advantages/Benefits/Evidence)benefit marketing method in marketing,the classification and recognition of behavior in graphical visual design languages with Norman's design hierarchy theory.The main contents of the research based on the composition direction are: the visual from of the behavioral graphic visual symbols in visual design;The graphical creation of behavior symols combined with the current popular visual design language expressions from.When forming behavioral graphicalization are applied in visual design language,the inguistic expression of behavior are transferred to the visual representation.The complete application logic from.The paper-oriented design of behavioral graphical visual design language,with the introduction of USP(Unique Selling Point)unique selling point theory,the combination of behavioral graphical visual design language and USP theory,the finding of a the entry point for application in packing design is to summarizes the process and possible problems encountered in packaging design,and give corresponding solutions.
