By analyzing the characteristics,trends,and problems of contemporary commercial exhibition space,based on the humanistic emotional experience and sustainable development of society,research on the design of "Elastic Space" in the commercial exhibition space is proposed.Starting from the "Elastic Space",this paper summarizes its spatial expressions with the basis of cases study which will explore the design strategy of "Elastic Space" in the commercial exhibition space so that we can put forward reference and thinking for the design of the commercial exhibition space in the present and future.This paper discusses four aspects as follows: introduction to "Elastic Space" design,analysis of the design of "Elastic Space" in the commercial exhibition space,strategy on "Elastic Space",significance and function the design of "Elastic Space".First,based on the theoretical study of "Elasticity" and "Elastic Space",the characteristics of flexibility,ambiguity,openness,diversity and inclusiveness of "Elastic Space" are summarized.With the basis of cases study on the application of "Elastic Space" in landscape design,architectural design and interior design,the first part constitutes the theoretical basis of the full text.Secondly,through the exploration of the elements of the commercial exhibition space and trend of times,dialectical relations which consists of overall and partial,special and universal and concepts of "Elastic Space" of the commercial exhibition space are interpreted.Then this paper put forward the theoretical basis of environmental psychology,ergonomics and marketing aesthetics.Combining the case study,the specific forms of expression are stated and extracted from three aspects:complex and dynamic,order and disorder,flexibility and transparency of interface.Then,the design strategy of "Elastic Space" in the commercial exhibition space was explored.Based on the overall design principles of integrity,neutrality,and practicality from the macro perspective and from the perspective of spatial language,prop language,structural language,lighting language,and multimedia language in the commercial exhibition space,this paper summarizes five corresponding design methods of "Elastic Space" which include simple system,modular design,flexible components,scene transformation and intelligent technology means.According to theoretical results of the study,the design plan of "DJI Innovation Flagship Store" is taken as an example to further illustrate the practical application and exploration of the "Elastic Space" design strategy.Finally,thesignificance and function of "Elastic Space" design in commercial exhibition space are discussed from the perspective of function,emotion,aesthetics and ecology.
