Mr.Wang Shuangcheng is a famous watercolor painter and art educator in our country.He has been fighting for the watercolor cause in China all his life.His watercolor works are strictly legal,and he pursues the best embodiment of the profound sense of the picture and the relationship between levels.At the same time which can be unique in composition,ingenious and unique;color contrast unity,color coordination are meticulous layout.He devoted his whole life to Chinese watercolor education,and in his middle and later years he devoted his energies to writing watercolor books.This article first introduces Wang Shuangcheng's artistic experience.Then it analyzes Wang Shuangcheng's watercolor painting style from the aspects of the color of expression space level,the skillful picture composition,the sketch performance of large-scale scene and so on.In the fourth part of the article,the author tries to analyze how Wang Shuangcheng's favorite watercolor flowers are gradually integrated into the painting techniques of Chinese painting in the process of watercolor flower sketching.His floral works,not only variety but also in the pursuit of a set to form his own painting method.The article also tries to prove the characteristics of Wang Shuangcheng watercolor flowers by comparing Wang Shuangcheng's works with those of watercolor florist in the same period.Wang Shuangcheng is also good at using seals in his works.In the last chapter,Wang Shuangcheng's influence on Chinese watercolor is divided into two parts: the advocate of Chinese watercolor nationalization and the inspiration to Chinese watercolor painters.From Wang Shuangcheng's watercolor works,the author tries to infer the trend of watercolor Sinicization which began to prevail in China in the middle of last century,and gradually form a kind of theory and painting school that pays attention to the inherent color and sketch of natural scenery.The Chinese watercolor painting school pays attention to the embodiment of the Chinese painting pen in the picture,conforming to the contemporary Chinese aesthetic,therefore which obtains the fast development in China,becomimg one of the important schools of the contemporary many schools.Wang Shuangcheng's hand-painted works have influenced many watercolor painters,like him,to raise people by painting and to educate their paintings with books.
