With the acceleration of social and economic development in China,the importance of secondary vocational education is becoming more and more important;the quality of education and teaching is also getting more and more attention.English courses as a required course for secondary vocational schools,it plays an important role in the training of the overall quality of the secondary vocational school students and the promotion of the ability to adapt to the vocational school;it also provides a possibility for the flexible choice of career development for secondary vocational students.English Teaching in secondary vocational schools should help students to master certain English basic knowledge and basic language skills,meanwhile,mainly cultivate students' application ability of English in daily life and occupation in the scene,lays the foundation for the students' occupation career,continuing learning and lifelong development.In secondary vocational school,the students' English learning is mainly from teachers' classroom teaching.Therefore,effective English classroom teaching design of secondary vocational school is the fundamental guarantee for the progress of students' English.The topic of “Study on effective teaching design of the secondary vocational English” in paper,explored and Researched the theory and practice of English classroom teaching design in secondary vocational school,elaborated the teaching of English is based on the theory of language acquisition,analyzed the effective design elements of classroom teaching.It is hoped that this paper will provide some advice and help for English teachers in secondary vocational schools;it also can provide support for English teachers in secondary vocational schools to design effective classroom teaching.This article through the literature research method,the observation research method and the comparative study method,researched the theory and application of English teaching design,found out the new ideas of English classroom teaching design,designed the elements of classroom teaching design in accordance with the teaching practice of English syllabus in new secondary vocational schools.Setting up a mechanism to change the present situation of teachers and students,designing the four basic elements of effective teaching design as the teaching content,teaching objectives,teaching strategies and teaching evaluation,designing English listening,speaking,reading and writing effective classroom teaching to cultivate students' language expression and application ability,cultivate students' correct emotion,attitude and values so,cultural quality and occupation ability of secondary vocational school students should be improved and development.This thesis is mainly allotted for five chapters.It consists of the chapters as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the research significance,contents,methods and describes the present situation at home and abroad.In the second chapter,it introduces the theoretical concepts and basic elements of instructional design.It includes the connotation,purpose,significance and procedure of instructional design,and the basic principles and elements of effective teaching design in secondary vocational schools.In the third chapter,it analyzes problems about English teaching in Secondary Vocational English based on Yunfu secondary vocational school in western Guangdong.In the fourth chapter,it presents the research results about how to improve the effectiveness of teaching design in secondary vocational English classroom.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part of this article.It concerns the research findings,the limitations and the prospects.
