| In the age of Han Dynasties,Buddhism was introduced into old China along the Silk Road and rooted in the old mainland China.During the period of Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties,a large number of Buddhist Scriptures were translated and promoted the cultivation of a host of professional monks in that period.These professional monks exchanged their ideas about Buddhism and Metaphysics with contemporary masters,which promoted the theory study of Buddhism,deepened the mutual integration of Buddhism and Metaphysics and accelerated the process of the development of ancient Chinese Characteristics of Buddhism.This characteristic of the development of Buddhism is typically reflected in the flourishing of Buddhism in shan county.To the period of East Jin Dynasty,with gorgeous scenery,rolling hills and clear waters,shan country which located in the Eastern Zhejiang,attracted many professional monks to live in seclusion and share their thoughts and ideas.In addition,the location of Shan county was belong to Kuaiji province,with the frequent gathering of famous scholars.While it was close to the capital Jiankang,which was convenient that the monks could be called to interpret Buddhist scriptures.This led to the prosperous of shan country’s Buddhism culture and It promoted the prosperity of prajna in the eastern jin dynasty,i which situation lasted to the Southern Dynasty.In this paper,33 monks,who stayed at shan country during the period of the East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty,are taken as the research object.Multi-methods are adopted,philology,religion and historical geography.The paper is composed of seven parts including introduction,the main body and the conclusion.Chapter 1 Introduction The introduction introduces the origin of research title,definite the research areas,review previous research and illustrates research value and logic.Chapter 2 The Geography and Humanities History at Shan Country.The first chapter cards the regional division of shan country in history,introduces the scenery and masters’ relics of shan country,and analyzes the inherent Taoist tradition and Buddhist factors at shan country.Chapter 3 The Review and Investigation of Monks at Shan County of East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty.The third chapter reviews the life story of 33 monks at Shan County,East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty and investigate the temples’ building and living status in this period and other local temples with a field trip.Whatever,this chapter counts the shan county monks’ books,and by carding their succession of masters to analyze the Buddhism Ideology at East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty.Chapter 4 The formation of Shan County Monks Group and in the East Jin and the South Dynasties.The fourth chapter takes Dharmaraksa monk group,Zhu Fonian monk group,Plans Weicheng monk group,Dao an monk group,Hui Yuan monk group and Kumarajiva monk group as examples to their respective group characteristics and comparing it with shan county monk group to verify whether these monk groups can be called monk group at the time of East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty and what impacts do they take to monk groups.Chapter 5 The Social Relationship of Shan County Monks and Monks group and the Shift of Learning Environment during the period of East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty.The fifth chapter cards the interpersonal relationship between monks and court,monks and masters at their time.Then this chapter discuss the governmental support for Buddhism and the shift of leaning environment which is took by the integration of Buddhism and Metaphysics at the time of East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty.Chapter 6 The Monks and group of Shan County and the Transmission of Buddhism Culture.The sixth chapter investigates the succession relationship of shan county monks and the social relationship of monks in the western regions,examines the the east return of the monks in Hexi and the west field trips’ story of shan county monks,analyzes the integrated factors of western regions’ characteristics and the regurgitation-feeding function of shan county monks in East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty.Chapter 7 Conclusion.The seventh chapter analyzes the reason of the congregation of professional monks and masters at shan county,summarizes the characteristics of shan county’s Buddhism in the East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty and makes a prospect to the future study. |
