People's Network Research On The Construction Of The Collective Memory Of The "Nanjing Massacre"

The "Nanjing Massacre" is one of the most miserable day in the history of the Chinese War of Resistance Against Japan.The commemoration of the "Nanjing Massacre" has never ceased.In particular,it was decided in 2014 that the December 13 th of each year will be designated as the National Day of Nanjing Massacre.Determined the status of the nationwide memorial.The year of 2017 is the 80 th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre.This article takes the People's Network from January 2014 to December 2017 as the object of study on the “Nanjing Massacre” and combed through the construction ways and characteristics of collective memories of such major historical events as “Nanjing Massacre”.On the basis of reading the relevant literature,this article collects four-year reports for text analysis.After analysis,the People's Network related articles have been classified into three major categories-newsletters,commentaries,and recalls.Among them,the report communication is further divided into five types,and selected representative people's network related articles are presented;The review articles include commentary of People's Network,reviews by other media,and public opinion.According to the frequency of words,this type of article topic words are mainly summarized as "history","peace","Indication","condemnation","urge","appeal","emphasis","face up",etc.;In this article,the recollection articles were listed separately,taking the particularity of the “Nanjing Massacre” incident into account,that is,the need for testimony or evidence to support the improvement of historical data.In addition,the "Nanjing Massacre" incident was associated with other related events such as "comfort women".The author made a summary by searching keywords through the People's Network.After analysis of the text and combining the role of media in collective memory,the third chapter analyzes and summarizes the construction features and construction methods of the People's Network construction of the collective memory of the Nanjing Massacre.The study found that the People's Network's construction of the collective memory of the “Nanjing Massacre” mainly showed the following: building memory points,creating a sense of commemorative ceremonies;rising to the national level of the nation: safeguarding the legitimacy of historical facts;acting as an “interpretation community”,and establishing national spirit and collective identity through past,present,and future descriptions;authorize writing and co-writing,Multi-party participants participate in constructing collective memory;spreading historical facts to the international community and actively striving for the construction of a historical discourse right at the international level.
