Georg Friedrich H?ndel,a famous composer in 18th century,who devoted his life to the field of opera creation in Baroque.His aria is a classic,and the three-act opera---Rodelinda is a full-length opera nowadays.It was made by N.F.Heym,written in line with the same name play of A.Salvi's in the glorious period of Handel's opera creations,which premiered in London in 1725,performed by London's major theatre and the most popular singers were participated.The author chooses Bertaledo's aria as the object of study and discusses it from four parts.The first part starts with the life of Handel,teases Handel's operas in the different periods of times,and expounds the background of the creation of"Rodelinda",the content of the opera script and the image of this task of Bertaledo.In the second parts,we analyze the aria music of the character Bertaledo in the play,and state the application of breath,the change of timbre,the training of sound,the language of singing and the expression of emotion from the point of view of the singing practices.Through the grasp of the overall style,to discuss how to shape the image of Bertaledo as a singer and proposes own views in singing techniques.Part four,from the perspective of the singing value,teaching value and aesthetic value,to discover the values in the Bertaledo arias.Because of the unique charm and its important historical status of the opera in Baroque,author hopes to analyze the different aria of the same character in different situations,and more directly grasp the artistic image and style of the characters.To summarize more singing techniques through singing practices.The analysis of its common characteristics and individuality will go deep into the understanding of other operas of Handel so as to provide the technical reference and theoretical support for the singers in the future,and also add a certain practical value to the teaching and singing of vocal music.
