The social situation of China after the War of Resistance against Japan related not only to the international factors,but also to the domestic military encounter,politicalcompetition and structural changes.From 1945 to 1949,young students' political leanings and psychological changes had become a clue question that possessed historical vicissitudes.The Kuomintang and Chinese Communist Party both systematically designed the policy and took actions to win the support of young students who were the main body of “Redevelopment” and the barometer of popular support.When the Chinese Communist Party strenuously seized the political power of the whole nation,young students eventuallychose the socialism instead of the Three People's Principles.The experiences,methods,routes,organizational mobilization and cause of success or failure of the two parties need a further discussion.This dissertationconsists of the introduction,five chapters and conclusion and conducts a comprehensive study on the relevant practices and their consequences of the two parties in Tianjin during the war-time period by regarding the guidance and control of students and the policies of education assistance as the principal line and focus point.It shows that the Chinese Communist Party used a more flexible,active,practical and popular way than Kuomintang's to get the social recognition for guiding public opinions,pacifying students' mood,implementing education assistance and winning over the intellectual.Some experiences still have referenceand theoretical valuefor thecontemporary issues of party construction and young students' political tendency.Meanwhile,based on the historical facts,this dissertation also pays close attention to thelinkage relationships among different historical events and their influences,such as the in-system rebound caused by theexamination of educational staffs,thesocial discontent triggered by improper disposalof Shenchong incident,the students' complaints about the suppression from Kuomintang on the education assistance of Chinese Communist party,the concealment of funds and incapable grass root organization existing in Kuomintang's education assistancemovement,the difference between the patterns of two parties' movement,the politic of ground floor,the daily life of young student and etc.As a link of diversified policy,the guidance and control of students and education assistance of Kuomintang and Chinese Communist Party constituted a side of systemic social reaction.The social panic caused by the war and the in-system collapse resulted by Kuomintang's policies are the regional expressions of the political competition and its idea in Tianjin,which manifestsa recessiveness factor that determine the success or failure of the revolution.
