Based on the current pursuit of a better living environment and the desire to return to natural life,the green ecological graphic design concept and the naturalistic graphic design style have gradually become the development trend of modern graphic design.Due to the commercialization of modern graphic design and the shallowness of copywriting content,the idea of integrating graphic design into excellent traditional cultural connotation is proposed.Image aesthetics is used to guide the application of natural element graphics in graphic design to achieve a high level aesthetic level of “image outside the habitat”.The main content of this paper is firstly described from the concept of natural elemental graphics and its value in ancient Chinese art and the performance of graphic design in the Art Nouveau movement;secondly,the analysis of natural elemental graphics is reflected in the spiritual and material aspects of graphic design.Unique aesthetic features of imagery;then guided by imagery aesthetics,using natural element graphics as material to draw innovative design rules and functional expressions for graphic design creation;and finally analyzing natural elemental graphics in the design practice of Ruoxu.Refinement and design,discussion of natural element graphics in the design of the form of expression,the use of green materials,etc.,under the guidance of image aesthetics form a commercial design value and artistic aesthetic value coexist graphic design works.In short,the paper explores the art of plane art with both natural elemental graphics and traditional cultural imagery to provide ideas and inspiration for modern graphic design.
