| The "VP of XX" structure is an extension of the "V of NN " structure proposed by Mr.Xing Fuyi. The adverbial component "XX" of this structure is not only limited to nouns, but also includes numerals, noun phrases, quantity phrases, verb phrases, and so on.The "XX" means that the two parallel components are syntactically adverbial, that is,the former "X" and the latter "X" are parallel structures. We divide the structure into three different forms based on whether the former “X” and the latter “X” contain the same components, namely the identical type "VP of XX",the semi-identical type "VP of XX",and the all-differential type "VP of XX".This article starts with the form of language, and analyzes the structure with the semantic features, and then examines the types of quantity and subjective quantity in language and the influencing factors of the structure. This article is divided into three sections:The first section is the first chapter, that is the introduction part, mainly introduces the research object, the research content, the research significance, the research status, the research methods and the source of corpus. The second section is the text part, including the second chapter, the third chapter and the fourth chapter, which respectively investigate the three different forms of the identical type "VP of XX",the semi-identical type "VP of XX" and the all-differential type "VP of XX".First of all,we start with the form of language to separate these three forms more carefully;then we analyze the semantic orientation of adverbial components in different forms of "VP of XX" structures in XX and then study their semantic characteristics; Then we study from four different angles of quantity categories in language: one is whether to use quantity components to express quantitiy divided into visible and invisible quantity, and the other is to classify things and events according to the description object, and the third is based on Whether the subjective evaluation with speaker has objective quantity and subjective quantity, and the fourth is divided into large quantity and small quantity according to the magnitude of quantity;finally, the situation of the subjective quantity in language of the structure of "VP of XX" is explored. The cause of the subjective quantity and the factors that affect the subjective quantity of the structure. The third section is the conclusion part, summarizes the research results and the value of this article. This paper divides the "VP of XX" structure into three types: the identical type, the semi-identical type, and the all-differential type.It examines the form of the vocabulary, the semantic features, the type of the quantity in language, and the subjective quantity of the form. There is a close connection between the form and the subjective quantity."Identical type" forms subjective quantity of abnormality by comparing some numbers, quantifiers, adjectives, adverbs, etc.with normality;"all-differential type" mainly expresses the subjective quantity of exaggeration, and can express a subjective quantity of exaggeration through some special numeral frames. It is also possible to exaggerate the subjective quantity of the “XX” semantic relationship and the adverbial position;and the “semi-identical” is between the “identical type” and the “all-differential type” in the form, which can express the subjective quantity of an anomaly. It is also possible to exaggerate subjective quantity. At the same time,it explores the factors that affect the subjective quantity of the "VP of XX" structure, and analyzes the relationship between the various factors.Through the research of this paper,we can have a further understanding of the structure of "VP of XX" and how to express the quantity and subjective quantity in language. At the same time,it enriches the theory of quantitative categories in language and has more understanding of the factors that affect the subjective quantity of the structure. It is hoped that the study of this paper can provide some valuable and reference significance for the study of the structure of "VP of XX" and the quantity category theory in language. |
