This dissertation chooses “The Tomb-Inscription of Wei Gu Shi Zhong San Ji Chang Shi Dingzhou Cishi Sikong Digong” as the topic(It is named “The Tomb-Inscription of Di Zhen”thereafter)It is to present that the “retro” trend of North Qi calligraphy can promote the calligraphy development of Sui and Tang Dynasty and the formation of the “heyday of Kai script”.In addition to this,the value of “The Tomb-Inscription of Di Zhen” would cultivate modern calligraphy practice,the style creation and the academic study as well.The dissertation does textual research of the the formation,condition,inscription of “The Tomb-Inscription of Di Zhen” through on-the-spot investigation,especially the correction of Yang words and the content of Yin words of the inscription,which corrects the errors and complements the blanks of epigraphy documentation.What's more,it initiates the research of “Di Zhen Tomb” which illustrates the epitaph of Dizhen and the Di Yantong repairing the tomb of Di Zhen,as well as the textual research that Di Zhen's birth date,the place of burying and the exact time of “The Tomb-Inscription of Di Zhen”,added more reliable information to the literature.In terms of calligraphy,by comparison of“The Tomb-Inscription Ode of Biao Yi Xiang Yi Ci Hui” in Ding Xing country “The Tomb-Inscription of Long Zang Temple” which is considered “first rank tomb-inscription in Sui dynasty”,it reveals that they have similarities in stroke,structure and style.Therefore they probably possess the same origin and it emphasizes the value of calligraphy,literature and history of “The Tomb-Inscription of Di Zhen”.
