In recent years,people pay more and more attention to children's early education.Preschool is the most important stage in the cultivation of behavior habits in one's life.A good book of national studies not only helps to form a correct world view,outlook on life and values,but also can master the basic skills of social life,cultural knowledge and labor.At present,few books are designed according to the characteristics of children's stage in the market.They are commonly used in writing,illustrations,colors and sounds.Early childhood is the key period of enlightenment education,so the factors of safety,health,intelligibility,and graph are studied and analyzed to sum up the elements in accordance with the standard range.Then it is applied to the transmission of knowledge of national studies,which is more conducive to the adequate absorption of children in the appropriate stage.Based on the characteristics of preschool children.Preschool children are mainly in the 3-6 age group,based on the analysis of the physical,psychological,behavioral and cognitive characteristics of children,through the investigation and follow-up of kindergarten,find out the characteristics of children in practice,and then from the children's point of view to improve,so that children can better learn,accept the traditional culture of "etiquette,honesty,thrift,modesty".To put into practice,carry forward the Chinese nation's excellent cultural essence.Based on the characteristics of preschool children,the thesis is supported by semantic difference method,aggregation method and combined analysis method.At the same time,it analyzes the design elements of Chinese books by means of data statistics.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the developmental function of preschool children by following up and visiting them and reading the literature.Then,the author makes an in-depth investigation on the books of national studies,and analyzes the present situation of the books of national studies by comparing the charts and case studies.Then according to the characteristics of preschool children,standing in the perspective of book design to analyze five elements of materials,colors,illustrations,fonts and layout in Chinese books,sum up the optimal form of each element.Finally,the demand summary of the design elements is translated into the design practice with the example of "the younger brother's rule",and the design evaluation report is made to realize the application of the design theory for preschool children.
