The Contrastive Study Of Female Words In Mandarin Chinese Dictionary And Modern Chinese Dictionary (7th Edition)

As the smallest linguistic unit that can be used independently,the word reflects to some extent the changes of the times and the development of society.Throughout the development and changes of words,the words describing and describing people can be said to be a category with a relatively large change,and female words as a special category reflect certain changes in the development of the times and society.The dissertation studies female words based on two lexicons: Mandarin Chinese Dictionary and Modern Chinese Dictionary.It is divided into the following six parts.The first part is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the research status,research significance and research methods of female words.The second part first defines and classifies female words,and then analyzes female words from three aspects.From the perspective of syllables,female words are composed of two-syllable words.From the aspect of part of speech,female words are mainly nouns.From the perspective of classification,female words are mainly characterized by words of appellation.The third part focuses on comparing the female words that are commonly included in the two dictionaries.It mainly studies the two aspects of interpretation style and interpretation content.It is found that female words are different in the interpretation of meta-language,length of paraphrase,paraphrase,and mark.When studying the content of interpretation,it also compared the four aspects of word meaning,meanings,terms,and order of meaning.At the same time,in order to further explore the changes in the content of the interpretation of female words,the dissertation also made use of the Declaration and People’s Daily two corpora to make an actual investigation of the female words.The fourth part compares the different female words in the two dictionaries.It focuses on the blanking of the female words in Mandarin Chinese Dictionary and the emerging of female words in Modern Chinese Dictionary.The types of female words blanking in the "Mandarin Chinese Dictionary" mainly include the following aspects:First,the replacement of objective things has caused the elimination of female words.Secondly,the disappearance of the object caused the elimination of the female words.Third,the change of the appellation caused the elimination of the female words.Fourth,the development of the society caused the elimination of the female words.Fifth,the internal adjustment of the vocabulary caused the elimination of the female words.The emerging female words have two features: semantic unification and word clustering.The semantic information distribution mainly focuses on job occupation,external image,ability and personality,family marriage and daily activities.The emerging of female words is mainly influenced by social development,language contact and subjective demand.In the fifth part,from the six categories of female words,we selects two categories of identity appellation and dress to compare,in order to explore the changes of social status and life concepts.The sixth part is the conclusion part,which mainly introduces the conclusions,deficiencies and aspects that need to be improved.
