A Report On The Guide Interpreting In Changchun Film Studio

This is a practice report based on the guide interpreting task conducted by the interpreter in the famous National 4A level tourist attractions in Changchun,a museum as the old site of the Changchun Film Studio.All through the task,the author interpreted the introduction from the museum tour guide to serve an international student from Armenia,and interpreted the visitor's remarks and questions.This report takes the task as its central study object,describes the task process,categorizes encountered problems,elaborates on their respective coping strategies and explores ways of improving grammatical and stylistic accuracy in such kind of interpretations.The report covers four chapters.The first chapter is the task description,introducing the basic information,defining features of the task and summarizing the report's theme,research purpose and method.The second chapter is the process description.The author mainly introduces the process of the task from two aspects:pre-task preparation and quality assessment,including self evaluation and client's feedback after the task.The third chapter is about a case analysis.The author summarizes and classifies the problems encountered during the task,and discusses the coping strategies for each kind of problems in detail.Chapter four makes a conclusion of the report.The report is expected to be referential for the interpreter's interpreting work and education career in future and if fortunately constructive for interpreter training in the country.
