| As a linguistic symbol,place names are a cultural treasure and a historical “living fossil”.In the history of the place names' developmence,they often have the characteristics of the times,regional characteristics and unique cultural connotations.Therefore,every place has to undergo developing and changing.Place names are also the exclusive names that people give to natural or human geographical entities.The significance of naming is generally defined as the literal meaning of place names,but more focus on people naming,or named source.In addition,from the historical process,geographical names experienced using by local people and at the end using by more and more people.Also legalization and standardization have confirmed that place names constantly develop and change.Fujian Province is located in the southeast coast of China,and it is an important traffic for the East Sea and the South Sea.The road also can get to South Asia,West Asia and East Africa.It is not only the history of the Sea Silk Road and Zheng He starting point,but also the maritime Trade Center.Unlike the rest of our country,the coastal civilization of the province is marine civilization,while the mainland is the agricultural civilization.The characteristics of the mountains and sea to achieve the rich tourism resources of this province,in addition to Gulangyu,Wuyi Mountain,Qingyuanshan,Haisi and other natural scenery,there are Fujian Earth building,Anping Bridge,Mazu Culture and other cultural landscape.From the point of geography view,this paper by using the methods of mathematical statistics,literature and Arc GIS to study the source types of the names of the administrative villages in Fujian province,and through the analysis of the land administrative village names,reproduces the local natural and human geography environment,and obtains the naming methods and types of the village names in Fujian province.The spatial distribution characteristics of village names and the reasons for their formation.This article is divided into six sections:The first part summarizes the purpose and significance of the relationship between place names and geographical factors of the administrative villages in Fujian province,data sourcesand research methods,domestic and foreign research status and place names' status of Fujian province.The second part introduces the geographical environment of Fujian province,including geographical location,topography,climatic characteristics,hydrological characteristics and resource types,as well as historical culture,historical evolution and administrative divisions,nationality and language.The third part is to analyze the source type and statistic result of the administrative village names in Fujian province.The natural geographical environment of the administrative villages are divided into 12 categories,mainly analysis the type of terrain,azimuth,hydrology and animal and plant.The cultural geographical factors related to the village names divided into 10 categories,mainly studies the type of architecture,surname,intention and traffic and economy.The forth part,the statistical data of all the municipal administrative villages in Fujian province entered into Excel,and the density of the village names is calculated according to the density formula.Using Arc GIS to draw the name density map of Fujian province,and to analyze the characteristics of the spatial distribution.The fifth part inputs the city of Fujian province village names about the topography,hydrology,construction into the table,according to the density formula,calculate the density of these three types.Using Arc GIS to make the elevation map and river distribution map of Fujian province,according to the density value,draw the density map of terrain,hydrology and building,and analyze the characteristics and analyze reasons of these three kinds of spatial distribution.The sixth part summarizes the relationship between the administrative names of Fujian province and the geographical factors,and analyzes the deficiencies of this article. |
