The late Ming was an important period in the development of Chinese flower and bird painting.Compared with the early and middle periods of the Ming Dynasty,significant changes took place in the subjects of painting,the form of painting,and ink and brush techniques.At the same time,the literati flower and bird painting of the late Ming Dynasty also completes a major transformation from shape writing to writing,which completely replaces the palace flower and bird painting and has become the mainstream of flower and bird painting development.These changes are inextricably linked with the prevailing spiritual trends in society.This article will start from the change of the mind in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,and explore the connection between the ideological trend of mind and the development of literati flower and bird painting in the late Ming period.The article is divided into four parts to discuss this topic.The first part introduces the political economy and ideological background of the late Ming Dynasty,and then discusses the history of the development of the Mind School in the Ming Dynasty.It mainly discusses Baisha philosophy,Yangming philosophy,and,Yangming philosophy in the left.Important point of view.The second part discusses the changes of the influence of the perspectives of the scholars' flower and bird paintings in the late Ming dynasty,such as “natural science”,“the theory of the mind”,and“the daily use of the people”.The third part analyzes the literati birds and flowers artists and their paintings at the time.It mainly focuses on the works of Xu Wei,Chen Hongshou,Zhou Zhimian and Lan Ying.The fourth part is about the influence of late Ming Dynasty literati flower and bird painting on Qing Dynasty and modern painting.As late Ming literati flowers and birds painting has a significant impact on the development of later flower and bird paintings.The author tries to find out the main reasons for the change of painting during this period by exploring the internal connection between Xinxue and the literati flower and bird painting characteristics of the late Ming Dynasty.It should be of some inspiration to create the following flower and bird paintings.
