Research On The Thomé H. Fang's Philosophy Of Life

In modern history,China had suffered greatly the national crisis.The intellectual elite are looking for way out of the crisis.Thomé H.Fang as representative of modern Neo-Confucianism,he believe that China's future depends on "the revival of Confucianism" and Theory of "expanding new external cause based on internal self-cultivations" to make China's modernization road.Modern Neo-Confucian thought,the national crisis is the crisis of culture in China,the backwardness of China lies at the root of traditional moral damage.They thought,only on the road to moral reconstruction from philosophy,can we revive China's national crisis.Thomé H.Fang isfirmly convinced that philosophy is the core of culture,he believed that only carry forward the spirit of our life,and through the promotion of life,can we achieved perfect personality.Thomé H.Fang proposed “The blueprint of men and the world in a perfect cultural”,to achieve national independence and modernization.This paper aims at has a more comprehensive research on Thomé H.Fang Philosophy of Life.The text is divided into four parts.Chapter One: This article Outlines the philosophy of the origin and significance of the study and provides an overview of modern neo-philosophy question to study philosophy and related research.Chapter Two: This paper illustrates the modern neo-philosophy of system construction of ontology.On Thomé H.Fang's life ontology construction,is the fusion of the philosophical thinking of Chinese and Western.Thomé H.Fang choose the Whitehead's “philosophy of organism” as the methodology of his philosophy and choose the Bergson's “elan vital” as the ontology of his philosophy.Thomé H.Fang's “Common life ontology” gradually increase the spirit of life by the way of thinking that “Unity of Noumenon(Ti)and Presentation(Yong)”.In this way,the theoretical basis of his philosophy of life is “life ontology”.Chapter Three: This article clarifies the subject of modern neo-philosophy from three aspects: Firstly,I research on Thomé H.Fang's theory of “ego” and “the self”.Thomé H.Fang believes that man is in harmony with the universe rather than the opposite,the integration process of man and the universe,but also we continue on the personality of perfection.Secondly,I research on the theory of Thomé H.Fang's person cultivation.In the opinion of Thomé H.Fang,he thought the "loyalty" of Confucian,the "grace" of Taoist and the "universal love" of Mohist's,are important content of theory of person cultivation.Thirdly,I research on the theory of Thomé H.Fang's Life realm.Thomé H.Fang's Life realm theory had six dimensional schema,they follow between "double back" value of all affected paths,so as to form a solid and valuable on the realms of lives.Finally,I evaluate and analyze the Thomé H.Fang' s Philosophy of Life in general.Then,I generalize the general characteristics of the Thomé H.Fang's Philosophy of Life.Lastly,I discuss the limitations of the Thomé H.Fang's Philosophy of Life.
